Shu Qi

 

Shu Qi, née le 16 avril 1976 à Taïwan, débute comme modèle avant d'entreprendre une carrière d'actrice. Elle apparaît dans des clips et films publicitaires de Taïwan puis, entre Taïwan et Hong Kong, tourne dans de nombreux films de genre (action, comédie, etc.) entre 1996 et 2001. Deux d'entre eux se distinguent notamment : Viva Erotica et Portland Street Blues, pour lequel elle reçoit trois prix consécutifs comme meilleure actrice. Millennium Mambo est son premier film à être distribué en France.
